Recycle your Christmas cards and help The Woodland Trust plant trees
Don't throw your Christmas cards away - we need them to plant more trees
Recycle your cards this January in special bins in TK Maxx, M&S and Luscombe Maye and help the Woodland Trust plant trees through our More Trees, More Good campaign.
The Kingsbridge Office of Luscombe Maye have been busy collecting Christmas cards from local residents to recycle via The Woodland Trust. Fiona Ebbutt based in the Newton Ferrers Office came up with the idea and Kingsbridge decided to put a poster in their window. They have lost count of the number of sacks they have filled already! Fiona is delighted with the response saying ‘Kingsbridge should definitely get a mention for this as I haven’t received a single one yet!’ And many local residents have commented how pleased they are as no one else in Kingsbridge appears to be doing it this year. So! If you haven’t already recycled your cards this year, make sure you take them into our Kingsbridge Office by 15 January – the last collection day.
And this year you can help the Woodland Trust choose where to plant them. Enter your postcode to vote for more trees where you live.
