South Hams Residents’ Parking Permits
Cost: £21/year
What you get: May be used in any SHDC owned car park seven days a week between the hours of 4:00pm and 10:00am.

Devon County Council Residents’ Parking Permits (on street)
Cost: £21/year per permit. Limited to one or two per household.
What you get: Residents who live in any of three zones (see map below) in Totnes may apply for street parking in their own zone. Residents in some streets not in a zone also qualify and can choose a zone in which to park. These streets include Bridgetown (Seymour Terr, Devon Place & Devon Terr), Cistern St, Fore St, High St, Leechwell St, Rotherfold, Ramparts Walk, South St, Ticklemore St and parts of Plymouth Rd and Station Rd.

From December 2010, emergency traffic orders created 68 dual-use parking bays, mostly in the Collapark, Plymouth Road, Seymour Road and Pathfields areas. This allows visitors to park in the zones for up to three hours, while still permitting residents to use them.
